The Sands and the Seas Wall

The Sands and the Seas wall was painted in February 2016 as part Morecambe’s Victoria Street Press public art project. The work reflects the heritage of the Sands and Seas in Morecambe Bay using stories discovered in the local newspaper from as far back as 1908.

The Sands & Seas Wall was created in collaboration with Sheffield based Graffiti Artists Faunagraphic and Rocket01.co.uk.

Victoria Street Press was part of a regeneration project on Victoria Street, Morecambe – to improve the public space for residents and visitors. The project was produced by Deco Publique with funding from the Morecambe Portas Pilot Town Team and Arts Council England.
